Tout d'abord, nous avons été en contact régulier sur watsapp avec Candice, toujours disponible et prête à nous aider lors de la préparation de notre séjour en Tanzanie, merci à elle.
Sur place, nous avons rencontré Margaret, la responsable,  empathique, agréable, et qui souhaite avant tout la satisfaction de ses clients.
Et pour finir, Kenny, notre driver pour notre circuit de 10 jours de safari, avec un 4*4 bien équipé et confortable. Kenny est un homme très professionnel, qui excelle dans son métier et connaît les parcs de Tanzanie parfaitement. We rented our car with a guide at Silashi, and we were extremely lucky. The guide is everything in this experience — the cars are basically all the same, but the guide makes the difference because you'll spend a lot of time with him in the car.

We were on our honeymoon, and for us it was an unforgettable experience. We had Kenny for the whole trip, and he made the experience really great, adapting to our itinerary, professional, with very solid driving (which you definitely need on those roads), great knowledge of the animals, and above all a real interest in finding them so we could see them.

We had no issues at all with the car — no flat tires or anything that could have made us lose time. We really recognize how tough it is to do a 7-day safari visiting different parks, so we can only say thank you.

We had a fantastic experience with Shilashi Car Rental in Arusha and would definitely recommend them. Candice helped organize our trips to three national parks, including the Ngorongoro Crater, and everything was arranged perfectly — we absolutely had no work or stress with it at all.
The Land Cruiser for the safari was top notch: comfortable, reliable, and perfect for the parks. Our driver, Jerry, was super nice, very patient with our 4-year-old, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. Thanks to him, we spotted many amazing animals and had an unforgettable safari experience.

We have had a great two weeks in Tanzania with our driver Kenny Edward making the trip special, due to his vast knowledge of the parks, amazing ability to locate animals and friendly manner. The ubiquitous Landcruiser truck never missed a beat!

We rented a Land Cruiser with rooftop tent from Shilashi for 8 days for a self drive safari.  They are professional and trust worthy.  They went out of their way to make sure all aspects of the trip went well.  We encountered a couple small vehicle related issues and they handled them quickly and throughly. Did 6 days self drive in Serengeti/Ngorongoro/Tarangire with a Shilashi Toyota Landcruiser.
Before the rental, communication and service was great and very available which gave us the confidence to do this self drive.
The car, while looking far from new with a few little defects like a broken door handle was very well maintained mechanically and we had zero issue and it ran like clockwork despite the terrible roads (bumps, mud, rain, dirt... You name it!).
Overall an amazing experience and one we would strongly recommend if you're thinking about a self drive. Make sure upon departure everything is in the car especially a jack because we had none but fortunately no puncture!
Candice and her team were super kind and helped with park passes when they could so we loved that as well. Pick up and drop off were a breeze as well, superb service from Shilashi.
Price was not cheap but for the service and peace of mind of a professionaly maintained car it was worth it
